The Story
After years of experience working with other wineries in both Romagna and in Tuscany, Giacomo and Camilo decided to stop selling their grapes and produce everything in house.
Drawing from their time working in Tuscany, they loved the idea of making a wine similar to those famous 'Super Tuscans,' which most notably are Sangiovese-based wines blended with international grapes. They decided to make a 'Super Romagna,' a Sangiovese blended with Cabernet and Merlot, aged in barrel for a year.
'Remel' means rebel, as this is somewhat of an outside the box wine for Emilia Romagna , but it so easily could be mistaken for a Super Tuscan.

What do we mean when we say “Clean”? A clean wine is free from chemicals, additives, artificial enhancements, added sugars, a plethora of pesticides, synthetic sulfites and glyphosate. Basically, we are concentrating on wines made with the bare minimum of intervention. The grapes are grown and harvested in a traditional organic way, fermented with native yeast rather than commercially cultured ones. Is this too much information? We are doing all the behind the scenes work and gathering of information so that you can just sit back, read the descriptions of the already vetted wines and just choose the ones that sound good to you. Each month, we'll feature a new wine that meets our standards. If you're a part of the club, you'll get an email to be the first to know about it, before it hits the store shelves. From there you'll have the opportunity to pre-order our choice at a special price, and be notified when it's available for pick-up. With enough approval, the wine will then become the featured in-store bottle the following month.
